Upon arrival in Sri Lanka, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative at the airport and transferred to Sigiriya.
En route, visit the renowned Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, a sanctuary established to care for abandoned and injured elephants. It is one of the island’s most popular attractions, where adult and baby elephants are nurtured in a protected environment. The orphanage also runs a successful captive breeding program. Feeding and bathing times offer the best opportunity to observe these gentle giants up close.
Continue your journey towards Sigiriya.
In the evening, visit the sacred Dambulla Cave Temple, also known as the Golden Temple of Dambulla. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, it is the largest and best-preserved cave temple complex in Sri Lanka, featuring impressive Buddha statues and ancient murals that date back over two millennia.
After sightseeing, proceed for hotel check-in and relax.

After breakfast, proceed to climb the magnificent Sigiriya Rock Fortress, often referred to as the “Eighth Wonder of the World.” Dating back to the 5th century A.D., this remarkable fortress was built by King Kassapa and served as his royal citadel for over 18 years. Perched atop a massive rock outcrop, Sigiriya is a masterpiece of ancient urban planning, engineering, and artistry, renowned for its landscaped gardens, water systems, mirror wall, and exquisite frescoes.
Thereafter, depart for the hill capital of Kandy, visiting a spice garden in Matale en route. Sri Lanka’s aromatic spices have been treasured for centuries and continue to be one of the country’s most celebrated exports.

In the evening at 4:45 PM, enjoy a captivating Cultural Dance Show featuring vibrant costumes and traditional dance performances rooted in centuries-old rituals and heritage.

After breakfast, enjoy a guided city tour of Kandy, the last royal capital of the Sinhalese kingdom. Drive along the scenic Upper Lake Drive and pass through the bustling Market Square before visiting the sacred Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic (Dalada Maligawa), which houses the revered tooth relic of Lord Buddha.
A stroll through the town offers an opportunity for souvenir shopping, featuring exquisite handicrafts in wood, copper, silver, brass, ebony, bronze, ceramics, lacquerware, handlooms, batiks, jewelry, and reed products.
Thereafter, proceed “up country” to Nuwara Eliya, visiting the scenic Ramboda Falls, the sacred Sri Bhakta Hanuman Temple, and a tea plantation and factory en route to witness Sri Lanka’s world-famous tea production process.
Often referred to as “Little England,” Nuwara Eliya sits at an elevation of approximately 6,200 feet above sea level. Its cool climate, colonial-era architecture, manicured gardens, and charming cottages create the ambiance of a quaint English town. Landmarks such as the iconic Grand Hotel, the historic golf course, and seasonal horse racing events add to its timeless charm.
Visit Gregory Lake, a picturesque reservoir constructed in 1873 during the tenure of British Governor Sir William Gregory. Also explore Victoria Park, originally a research field of Hakgala Botanical Garden and formally named in 1897 to commemorate Queen Victoria’s Diamond Jubilee.
Conclude the day with a visit to the revered Seetha Amman Temple, associated with the Ramayana legend. The temple features vibrant murals, statues, and sculptures depicting scenes from the epic story of Rama and Sita.

After breakfast, enjoy one of the most scenic rail journeys in the world with a train ride from Ambewela to Ella. This picturesque journey winds through misty mountains, lush tea plantations, tunnels, and rolling countryside, offering breathtaking views of Sri Lanka’s hill country.
Upon arrival, proceed for a guided city tour of Ella. Visit the iconic Nine Arch Bridge, an impressive colonial-era railway bridge set amidst dense greenery. Continue with a hike to Little Adam's Peak, which rewards visitors with panoramic views of the surrounding valleys and tea estates. Also visit the stunning Ravana Falls, a cascading waterfall associated with the ancient Ramayana legend.
Ella is a charming hill country town known for its cool climate, serene atmosphere, and dramatic landscapes. Deeply connected to the legend of King Ravana from the Ramayana, several landmarks in the region reflect this rich mythology. Overlooking the town is the majestic Ella Rock, while the famous Ella Gap offers sweeping views stretching across distant valleys toward the southern coastline.

After breakfast, proceed to Bentota, with an en route visit to the historic city of Galle.
Explore the UNESCO-listed Galle Fort, a magnificent coastal fortress originally built by the Portuguese, later fortified by the Dutch, and preserved by the British. For over four centuries, the fort has withstood colonial invasions and even the devastating tsunami of 2004. Its charming cobblestone streets, colonial-era architecture, boutique cafés, and art galleries beautifully preserve its historic character.
Continue your journey with a visit to the Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery, an important conservation project dedicated to protecting endangered sea turtles and supporting successful breeding programs.
Later, enjoy a scenic boat ride on the Madu River, a biodiverse wetland ecosystem rich in mangroves and wildlife. The river is home to numerous species of fish, reptiles, butterflies, mollusks, and over 100 species of birds, including migratory varieties — making it a delight for nature lovers and bird watchers.
Bentota, located along Sri Lanka’s southern coast, is known for its golden beaches, tranquil lagoon, and vibrant birdlife. The surrounding riverbanks and coastal vegetation provide habitat to many local and migratory species, offering excellent opportunities for sightseeing and relaxation.

After breakfast, transfer to Colombo. Upon arrival, enjoy a guided city tour combined with shopping.
Sri Lanka’s former capital and largest metropolis, Colombo remains the country’s commercial and entertainment hub. The city features modern corporate buildings, fine dining restaurants, shopping malls, luxury hotels, spas, and vibrant nightlife. Its tree-lined boulevards and coastal setting create a unique blend of tropical charm and urban sophistication.
Visit Viharamahadevi Park, the city’s largest public park, and take a stroll along Galle Face Green, a popular oceanfront promenade on the western coastline, renowned for its spectacular sunset views.
Colombo also offers excellent shopping opportunities. Explore the bustling Pettah Market for great bargains and local merchandise. Along Galle Road, you will find popular shopping centers such as Majestic City, Liberty Plaza, and Crescat Boulevard, offering garments, handicrafts, books, leather goods, and more at competitive prices. Stores such as ODEL are also popular among visitors.
