DAY 01: ARRIVAL IN GUWAHATI
Meet and greet assistance by our representative at the airport/Railway Station. Check in
at the hotel. If time permits in the evening you may take a River Cruise (Direct Payment) on the River
Brahmaputra. You may also visit the local market during leisure time. Assam is famous for its locally produced “Assam Silk” particularly Golden Muga Silk,
Assam Tea, Bamboo and Cane Products. Stopover at Guwahati.

DAY 2: GUWAHATI – SHILLONG (100 Kms / 3 Hrs)
Early morning visit Kamakhya temple for the Darshan. Afterwards proceed to Shillong, also called ‘Scotland of the
East”. Reach the majestic Umium Lake (Barapani). You have few water sports options here (Spot /advance booking). On reaching to 
Shillong, check in to your hotel. In the evening, you can visit Police Bazaar which the biggest local market. Stopover at Shillong.

DAY 03: SHILLONG – LAITLUM CANYONS – KRANG SURI FALLS – SHILLONG (90 Kms / 2 Hrs each way)
After breakfast, proceed to “Laitlum Canyons” for some breathtaking views. Thereafter visit Krang Suri Falls. It is
one of the best waterfalls in Meghalaya. You can also swim in a naturally formed pool here. After Lunch return back to Shillong. Later on visit Don Bosco Centre for Indigenous Cultures, Ward’s Lake where you can enjoy boating, Cathedral Catholic Church and Lady Hydari
Park. Stopover at Shillong.

DAY 04: SHILLONG – DAWKI – MAWLYNNONG VILLAGE  – CHERRAPUNJI (90 Kms / 2 Hrs each way)
After breakfast, visit Mawlynnong Village the cleanest village in India. This cute and colorful little village is known
for its cleanliness. It is situated 90 kms from Shillong and besides the picturesque village, offers many interesting
sights such as the Living Root Bridge and another strange natural phenomenon of a boulder resting on another
rock. Visit Dawki, which is located along the Indo-Bangladesh border. You can enjoy boating in the crystal clear water of the
Umgnot River. In the evening, we will drive to the Cherrapunji. Stopover at Cherrapunji.

DAY 05: CHERRAPUNJI – GUWAHATI (160 Kms / 4.5 Hrs)
Start your day early to enjoy the mesmerizing morning of Cherrapunji. Afterwards visit “Garden of Caves”
or Eco Park, Dainthlen Falls, Nohkalikai Falls, Nohsngithiang Falls (Seven Sisters Falls), Mawsmai Cave,
Thangkharang Park. In the afternoon, drive to Guwahati. Arrive and check in at hotel. You may also visit GTAC Tea Lounge to
enjoy a cup of finest Assam Tea and also carry some Tea back home. Here you will find the authentic variety of tea types i.e.,
Organic, CTC, Orthodox, Green Tea, White Tea, Purple Tea etc. Stopover at Guwahati.

DAY 06: DEPARTURE TRANSFER TO GUWAHATI
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Airport/Railway station.

End of Tour

NOTE : In few tourist cities, City Monuments remains CLOSED on specific days of weeks. Therefore we shall try to cover those Monuments on any other day if time allows. We prepare Tour plan keeping in mind week days.
